Mouse not working

I have a Dell Laptop (600M) and my touch mouse isnt working. I bought an external mouse to use for now. When i go to mouse properties, it says "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Can someone help me please so I can get my touch mouse working again? Thank you

Have you tried reinstalling the driver for the touchpad? You should have a
"Drivers CD" from Dell. The needed driver could be on that. Dell might also
have it available from their web site.
