Hello,

I have a Logitech Cordless Click! mouse, which works fine, other than
the fact every few minutes the cursor jumps to the edge of the screen.
After a bit of research I've found logitech offer some software called
"SetPoint" which apparently fixes the problem, but 35MB seems a hefty
program for something that seems so simple.

My question is - does anyone know of a "mouse smoothing" program which
can help stop this jumping? The smaller the better, I'm not looking for
extra features - just nice and simple.

Thank you,
James

Just a random thought that might be of no help at all.

I too am using a Logitech Cordless mouse. I didn't bother installing the
software, and have never had a problem. I wonder if you did install
their software, and if your problem would be solved if you were to
uninstall it.

If it's optical mouse, I bet you have shiny mousepad. Change it to as
simple as it goes - ordinary one colour mousepad made of (what the
heck is it, cotton)?

Ivan.
