Since I upgraded to Vista, and have had problems with my mouse "hanging"
(the mouse pointer becoming unresponsive). This didn't seem to happen
in XP, regardless of how busy the system got.

Any suggestions?

This is probably due to a driver on the system. I've seen this on systems
with very old nVidia drivers, and also some systems with Promise disk
controllers.

I've got this trouble and, apart from waiting for hours, I switch off , at
the back of the set as the off switch doesn't work either, and reboot after
the requisite time.
The mouse hangs, or everything locks up as the reboot may only get as far as
the little blue circle before the welcome card appears.
I have tried 5 times to get as far as posting this message.
I may be having trouble with the installing of an nvidia graphics card.
I have looked at trying to block off the motherboard built-in graphics but I
don't know what to look for in the BIOS.
Any suggestions please - I'm getting desperate having to reboot every few
minutes.
Phil
