Mouse connects via which technology - PS2 or USB ?

If USB, did you change the Root Hubs to not enter a Power
Savings mode ? If you've been removing via Device Mgr,
then you've likely built up a long list of "Phantom" mice that
doesn't help your situation. (Plus the HID control drivers).

Are you using native XP drivers or a vendor specific set of
drivers and support software ( Logitech, MS...) ?

Dear all,

A few months ago the mouse would freeze after
working with PC for 1-2 hours, the only thing i could do was restarting.

Now its just a few minutes after turning on the PC.

There is no driver stored to roll back.
Also i remove the mouse from device manager
but still no fix.

Anyone got any ideas please?

Thanks,
Carlos.

Wireless mouse with batteries? Have you tried a different mouse?

Mouse connects via simple PS2 connection.
It's wired.
The drivers are Microsofts.

Thanks!
Carlos.
