Hi. Windows XP sp2 here. I have 2 users on my computer. Me, being number 1,
and someone else, being number 2. Well, everything works fine on number 2's
user account, but when I load up my user, user 1, I cannot doubleclick
anything? the mouse doubleclicks fine for user 2, but doesnt do it for user
1. I checked mouse settings, adjusted double click speed multiple times, and
even reinstalled drivers/updating drivers. NOTHING has worked. What am i
missing?

hehe funny. :P
Well, I couldnt find out what the problem was.. I had a virus (beagle) and
norton had to delete 840 files, SO, i think maybe some file related to
windows and the mouse was infected and norton deleted it seeing no harm in
it.. and it affected my side of the computer. I was amazed that windows XP,
REALLY separates the system. For example, If I do a cleanup or virus check on
1 user, it DOESNT check the other users side. you MUST do it on both
sides..weird huh? So, I just created a new user and deleted my old one..just
took 20 mins of setting personal prefs again..what a pain, but its all over
with now. I'm happy :)
