My mouse isn't working correctly. I'm able to move the mouse and use it in
certain software, i.e. Excel, but when I try to use it in Word and Outlook, I
can move the mouse but I cannot click in the body of the document.

So, have you tried another mouse?

The mouse works if I'm logged onto the computer under two other users, but it
doesn't work if I'm logged. I did try a different mouse for the sake of it
and it didn't solve the problem.

If you are using Word as the editor in Outlook, then the problem is
actually only in your Profile and in Word. I suggest trying rename the
"normal.dot" file (to normal.old) for your profile. Search Hidden and
System folders. And then start Word to recreate the file. (leave Outlook
and Word closed during rename)

I tried this, but with no luck. I'm still having the same difficulty. Prior
to this problem happening, the computer asked me if I wanted to enable or
disable macros and we selected disable. Would this affect the mouse working
and, if so, how could I now enable macros?

The Macro business doesn't make sense but you may set Macro security
that under Tools Macros, Security. I would suggest making sure you have
no malware infection, and then ask about the Mouse issue in the group
for Word, as the mouse is working as intended everywhere else.
