-----Original Message-----
on bootup of my computer, the mouse does not work it loads into windows,
which then displays the message:
windows did not detect a mouse attached to your computer. you can safely
attach a serial mouse now. to attach a mouse to a ps/2 mouse port you must
turn the computer off.
the keyboard does not work either. i havent tried a serial mouse, but they
are hard to come by these days?
the mouse and keyboard are not loaded up as part of the normal boot
sequence, as i cannot get into my bios settings by pressing delete.
one suggestion i thought of is perhaps putting a line in the autoexec or
config file so that this loads up the mouse and keyboard. would this work?
i cannot think of anything else to do. i have even tried putting a newer
motherboard in (ms6156) and this worked for a month or so, but the problem
has now occured again.
could there be any hardware conflicts?
