Daemon Tools didn't work for me. Vista noted a compatibility issue, enough
trying to install using XP SP2 cap mode, nada.

Jane,

You can always extract the ISO if you've got the extra disk space. Since
the install is now image based, all the required files are copied to the
target partition before the first reboot. That prevents the installer from
"losing" the source directory if drive letters change during install. 7Zip
(free) will extract the ISO for you.

I don't actually need to extract anything at the moment, having all of my
Vistas already burned to DVD ;) And installed ;)

Daemon Tools always use to come in very handy for mounting all sorts of
isos, thus saving a lot of burning. Unfortunately, so far there is no tool
that will work in x64 Vista for mounting isos or other image formats.
