Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just installed a K7
motherboard with an AMD Athalon 2800+ chip. WHen I turn off my computer, my
keyboard and mouse are still powered up. Did I miss something? Any
suggestions?
Help is appreciated,

Mike

Hi, I have an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe with an AMD Athlon 64 FX-55. My keyboard
and mouse stay powered up when the machine is turned off because I have allow
the space bar on keyboard to start computer set in the bios. You may want to
check you bios settings to see if anything about starting machine with mouse
or keyboard is set.

Most motherboards have jumpers that allow the keyboard or mouse to be
powered by the standby power when the computer is off. If you don't
want this, move the jumpers so the keyboard or mouse is powered only
when the computer is on.

Modern PCs NEVER power off, unless you actually pull the plug in back.
