Hello!

Recently I noticed a growing demand for disk space caused from the WINDOWS
folder on my boot disk, which mainly was caused from more than 1000
ROxxxx.bac (where xxxx is a hex number) files. What for are this files
used? For uninstalling all installed programms or for uninstalling only
certain DLLs?
What I noticed is that after installation of some windows updates such files
were created.
Can old files be deleted?

Please help!

John

Nothing to do with the operating system. Does this sound familiar?

Hello Dave!

I've Advanced Registry Optimizer from Systweak on my system running. Could
that be that this programm creates the mentioned backup files?
I'll check.

Regards
John
