Does anyone know how to get more than 1 horizontal and one vertical guide on
the ppt screen? I don't want to use the grid function.

Thanks.

Hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard while you drag the guides. You
can create up to 8 more, I think it is...

Hold down the Ctrl key and then drag a guide with your mouse/pointer. The guide
will be cloned. You can repeat this to a maximum of 8 horizontal guides and 8
vertical guides.

Hold the Control (ctrl) key and click and drag on a guide line and a 'copy'
of the line will be created. As I recall, up to ten such lines can be
created in each direction (vertical and horizontal).
