Which Applet or Component that will allow me to change the system name and
the system workgroup during runtime?
How about in Target Analyzer?

I keep deleting all the "other" English languages, but they keep coming
back, How do I keep United States and get rid of the rest?
Time Zone?
Right Click on DeskTop to change Screen Settings, I can do it via Control

Check you HAL component ("Standard PC", "ACPI PC", etc.) settings ("System Identification" group).

Didn't get this one.

Turn off "Auto-resolve dependencies" in TD options.
Time Zone?
http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded/community/tips/xp/timezone/default.aspx

Right Click on DeskTop to change Screen Settings, I can do it via Control Panel under Display....

"User Interface Core" component settings - "Show context menu on ..." options.

Thanks,

During Runtime, the Tab in the System Form that has the machine name and
workgroup is missing. It's normally right there with next to Advanced
settings (Performance....).

Thanks for all the help.

Hey, where do you folks get all this info? Is there a link that gives
details on the components? I hate to keep asking if it can be found
somewhere. My searches are coming up dry.

Add the "Software:System:User Interface:Shells:Windows Shell:System Control
Panel" component to your configuration.

Richard,

There are a number of sources of information, a lot of the folks here have
quite a bit of just general experience with the operating systems but there
are a few places that are good for gleaning information that I can relay:

1. This newsgroup is a great source of information - if you've missed any,
you can always search using Google
(http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&group=
microsoft.public.windowsxp.embedded - link will probably wrap) for specific
questions. A lot of people try looking up their questions through Google
first to see if the question has already been answered, but more than likely
someone here will be more than happy to provide an answer to a question that
has already been asked
2. The www.microsoft.com/embedded/xp website has a few good documents and
tutorials on it
3. http://www.rtcbooks.com/windows.php has a couple of XPE books that have
been published that are good references
4. The component help files in Target Designer
5. A test box and plenty of time and patience...
