Month & Year

I've got a slight problem, I've got three columns (column_1, column_2,
column_3) showing the contents of three skips. Above each skip is the
month and date which changes accordingly by the user clicking a button
up and button down i.e. something like;
<< MONTH >> << YEAR >>

Any ideas how I can get the month and year to appear above each column
and work seperatly i.e. if i click cmdMonthUp for column_1 then only
the month for column_1 changes but column_2 and 3 remain the same,
likewise for year.
