month, year as date

Hi Is there a way of formatting date to only show date as month year, (May
05). Using excel 2003.

Hi

Custom format "mmmm yy" or "mmmm yyyy" or "mmm yy" etc. I myself prefer the
format "yyyy.mm" - it doesn't mess up the record order whe the table is
sorted by this column.
 
Custom format:

mmm yy
OR
mmmm yy
--
