I have my Win2k Pro set to turn off my monitor after 20 minutes of inactivity.

The problem is, all of a sudden it works when the computer isn't locked.
But if I lock it the monitor will no longer shut off.

Help is greatly appreciated, hate to burn out a monitor.

Darin - Search for Powersave .. i have a post already about this I think

The Keys i think you need are these...

In HKEY_USERS (in the registry of course) Change the following Keys to these
values:
[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]
"ScreenSaveActive"="1"
"ScreenSaverIsSecure"="1" --- doesn't really matter not used
"ScreenSaveTimeOut"="60"
"SCRNSAVE.EXE"="logon.scr"

Actually I checked to see what monitor was installed. My monitor was
installed as Plug and Play Monitor. So what I did was went online to my
monitor manufactuer and installed the correct monitor drivers. Now it works
perfectly!

Thanks for your response though Grant.
