Monitor Screen Distortion

Hi,

I just bought a 19 Inch CRT monitor, had a 17". Plugged it in, turned it
on...No problems. When I look at a picture or some screens, they are or
appear elongated. I've tried playing around with the settings. Can anyone
tell me how to get rid of the distortion or is that just something I'll have
to suck up?
Video plays fine. If I look at a JPEG, the image appears elongated. Even in
Internet Explorer, images look slightly elongated.
Thanks

Display on a 19" 4X3 aspect ratio monitor (not widescreen 16X9) should
look exactly as they do on a 17" 4X3 monitor.

Be sure that the monitor is running within its prescribed limits, by
installing its .inf file - if one was supplied. Alternatively, the file
may be available at the manufacturer's WEBsite.

If that, and control adjustment per the manual, fail - return the monitor.
