Monitor problem

I can't get red color on my monitor. I tried the red, green and blue pixel test and came up black on the re test. I am using a Trinitron Multiscan 200 es Model. Can anyone help? I just hooked up a new HP compute

try monitor on another machine or video card - if it works ok then the new
machine's video card is bad, otherwise the monitor is bad.
