Monitor flickering red

My monitor is flickering to red color, making white look
pink while using any program. What is causing this and
what is the solution?
 
My guess would be that your monitor is on the way out. Try replacing it with
another monitor to see if you have the same problem. If you do....then I'd
look at the video card or motherboard.

Could be alot of this...perhaps a software probelm make sure your drivers are up
to date.. Maybe it a physical probelm, check your connection from your computer
to your monitor. A "short" in the cord or a bad connection might cause that.
Check to see if your video card is well seated in its slot.

If it's not the monitor, it could be a video cable with either bent or
broken pins on the connector. If the monitor has a detachable cable,
check the connectors before replacing the monitor. If the cable is
not detachable, sorry. :(
