Monitor driver update

could not update monitor driver in windows xp. the monitor is lg.

in the display, advanced, monitor the properties box is grayed, how to do it
pls. reply. txs.

You shouldn't need to unless you have problems.
Anyhoo, Right click MyComputer.
Click Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager button.
Click the + next to monitors.
Right click either the default or your monitor if it's listed.
Click Update Driver in the pop-up menu.
Follow the prompts.
