I just like a explanation why this is happening.....My grandson just figured
out why his monitor would not turn on, except for a blink in the upper left
corner. He had Wi-Fi Linksys WUSB54G, IPOD Mini, Radio, so the sound of the
computer will go through it, instead of the cheaper speakers, Also a web cam
was plugged in , but was not on . When we disconnected all the USB things,
the monitor worked fine. The computer is a HP Desktop, with a CRT Monitor
running Win XP Home. ......Many thanks...Peter

Because the USB ports on the monitor do not provide enough power for ALL the
devices your grandson plugged into them.

There are powered USB hubs on motherboards but unpowered hubs can be part of
other devices.

OR, the devices are USB 2.0 and the monitor only supports USB 1.1 (Check the
mnaula on the monitor).

Thank you Bob I and Jerry, I think the answer is use a powered USB hub, I
will get one today, I appreciate you both a lot......Peter
