I have just been thrown out of my database and when I try
to get back in I get the message "module not found". What
does this mean and can I fix it. I do not know Visual
Basic, but will have to learn quickly if this is the only
way to fix it!
I would rather not restore from backup if I can possibly
fix it as I would lose a mornings work.

thanks

It sounds like your database is partially corrupt.
These steps could help you get Access to rebuild it for you.

1. Create a new (blank) database.

2. If this is Access 2000 or later, uncheck the Name Autocorrect boxes under
Tools | Options | General.

3. Import all your tables and queries into the new database: File | Get
External | Import.

At this point you have all the current data.

You can now import the other objects (forms, reports, macros, and modules)
from the failed database. If this process does not work correctly, you can
import them from a backup. At least you have your up-to-date data.
