Modifying A Template

I wish to modify an Access template for my purposes, such as
colours/fields etc.

On the customer form there is a 'customer website' field which I do not
require.

Initially, I deleted the control source under properties for 'customer
website' and the field and name in design view. After changes and
saving the table, it executes with the new field and name omitted which
is fine.

I then opened the customer table and deleted the respective column
'customer website' to tidy up.

However, when reopening the customer table, I am prompted for a new name
for the 'customer.website'. Typing any value in here gets rid of the
prompt window.

Why am I prompted for a new name when the field no longer exists?

The 'customer.website' does not appear to be linked to other tables.

TIA

Just a possibility ... is there a field defined as a "lookup" data type
field? Does (or did) it involve a [customerwebsite] field?

In a Report file named 'Customer Listing', it contains the customer
website, so that is the culprit I reckon. I'll let you know. Thanks
for aiming me in the right direction.
