Modify template of an existing presentation

I was asked to modify an existing powerpoint (2000)
presentation. Unfortunately, the company logo is
incorrect on the template.

Can someone please tell me how can I modify the template
(fix up the Logo and wordings) of an existing
presentation without distrubing any existing info on the
power point ?

Thanks in advance for any advise.
 
Wellie,
Two steps, one to fix the template, one to fix the files.
First, fix the template: Open the template and do a View--> Master--> Slide
Master. Change the logo. Save the template.

Next, fix the presentations: Open the presentation. Right click and select
Apply Design Template. Select your fixed template and apply it. Bingo - the
logo will be changed to the right one.

A word of warning: If any of the slides were set up to exclude the master
slide graphics, they will not pick up the new logo. Chances are pretty good
that those don't have it, but check it anyway.

Go to View > Master > Slide Master. That is probably where the logo is.
Changes there will be reflected in the logo on all of the slides, but no other
info will be impacted.
