Modify a Distribution List based on time of day.

We use Outlook (2002) to e-mail messages to the phones of our field service
personnel regarding critical alarms. I would be interested in modifying the
distribution list so that the guy on the service desk doesn't recieve these
e-mails during working hours. Is there a set-it-and-forget-it way of setting
up a distribution list so that it will mail to everybody on the list during
weekends and non-business hours, and exclude specific people during business
hours?
 
Is there a script or command line switch that I could use to toggle the out
of office assistant? If that was a possibility, I could just set up a rule to
Forward the help desk guy's alarm messages to his phone when he was not at
the desk.
