Modem dial tone volume.

On my old system, i had the phone option when i used to
double click on the volume icon in the system tray and it
could be used to control the dial tone. But on my present
computer which uses an Actiontec modem, i am unable to
find the phone slider in the volume control window. I do
not find it even though i go to the options menu and click
on properties. There is no problem with the dial tone as
such because it is able to connect to the internet fine.
But i am unable to hear it.

Control Panel|PHONE & MODEM|MODEMS tab|PROPERTIES|ADVANCED

In the Extra Settings box, type L1M1
