I'm using Outlook 2000 on a Win2K Pro PC. I use Outlook for both my
personal and business (exchange server via VPN) accounts. I have tried
previously to combine the two into a single profile and use rules to move my
personal account messages into my PST folders. That part works fine, what I
can't solve is the outbound problem of not being able to select which
"account/user/whatever nomenclature you prefer" I'm sending from when I
draft new messages or reply.
I know you can go into settings and change the delivery order from business
to personal, but let's face it, it isn't practical to expect anyone will
remember that for EVERY message they send. So, has anyone solved this
issue? If a newer version of Outlook addresses this, then I'd be willing to
upgrade. If a 3rd party vendor has developed a solution, I'd look at
purchasing that.
Whatever insight anyone has would be appreciated. I'm hoping I overlooked
something simple and this really isn't a big deal to solve. In the
meantime, I continue to use two profiles and switch back and forth. I'll
also note that I do not want to use Outlook Express for my personal email.
Thanks,
