mixed formats in calculations

I'm trying to calculate mixed formats like currency * time
If I worked 9:22 today and my hr rate is $23.00/hr
how do I do this?

Hi Mark

i'm assuming 9:22 is 9 hours and 22 minutes of work, if so the formula would
be
(with 9:22 in A1 and $23 in B1)
=A1*24*B1
and format this answer as a number
