missing web pictures

when i go onto some web sites, i have missing pictures ,
it just has a x -and says click here. also some web pages
i go on dont show the pictures and says action cancled ???
tryed all kinds of settings on internet settings . am i
missings something ? please help .

If you were missing pictures on all web sites then it would likely be
something in your settings that was amiss. Since you can get pictures on
other websites, it is more likely that the page you are accessing has
missing pictures (notify the webmaster for that site) or that you need to
refresh the page.

Some sites serve pictures from a server other than the one that you're
visiting. There is a chance, if you have an internet security program
installed, that it is blocking "third party" content. Check the program's
settings and/or help file.
