After I double-click the shortcut to internet explorer the window opens to my desired page, but all the toolbars are missing. there is no (file, edit, view, favorites, Tools, help) buttons, there are no standard buttons like Back, Forward or favorites and there is no adress bar. how do i set internet explorer to display these every time i open it?

Hi Betsy,
simply right click anywhere in the tan area where the tool bar should be and
you will find a white menu-- showing the menu--click that and it will be
restored. Bob.
