missing space on hard drive

after running CHKDSK I get these results..
6337610 KB total disk space.
4187002 KB in 16549 files. ( C drive only shows about 2 Gb in properties)
5188 KB in 1585 indexes.
0 KB in bad sectors.
57223 KB in use by the system.
33744 KB occupied by the log file.
2088197 KB available on disk.
But I have only loaded 2 gb of info in this new install wich leave me 2 Gb short

There are a lot of items that will not show up when you list the
properties for the drive, like system restore points, and I believe
the recycle bin.
