Hello,

I am stumped and grasping at straws. I have had ongoing problems with IE
6.0 and OE 6.0 - IE continually gives the "page not found" error, OE will NOT
send any type of attachments, etc. I have disabled all firewall, anti virus
-changed MTU settings as suggested in the registry; tried switching
identities, etc. The only time I was able to send was after I rebooted the
machine - it sent a 45 kb pic then would not send anything else. I can send
and receive normal emails just fine. I have run SpyBot and Adaware and no
problems there. I also cannot attach files to my ISP's webmail server or
Hotmail - my ISP said that it
has nothing to do with them.

In searching around the net, I came across running the SFC/Scannow - I tried
running it any apparently it doesnt exist!

Can anyone PLEASE help me with these problems?

Hi

Try

sfc /scannow

there is a space between the c and /. Copy/paste the above into Start>Run
and have your XP CD to hand.

Try going to Internet options and lower your security settings. right click
on the blue e, click on properties, security, and move the slider down some,
click on apply, and ok. then restart Internet explorer.
