My windowsXP home edition does not have a sendmail.dll. How do I install it?
Would the simplest method be to try the restore CD? I understand it is
needed to shrink high resolution pictures.

PA Bear, thank you for your response.

I was also writing a thank you to the other party that responded, but
managed to loose it before I finished. (Should you be reading this, thank
you also)

This is my first attempt on this board, and I am afraid I am a little inept.

I'll start from the beginning:

Was attempting to send a high resolution picture in email. Checking HELP I
received step by step help. However, when it comes to "if message recipients
are not able to view your inserted images, on the TOOLS menu, click OPTIONS.
Click the etc.........." However, there is no OPTIONS on the TOOLS menu,
therefore I can go no farther in following the instructions. Doing a Google
search I learned that this was because the sendmail.ddl is corrupt. I
checked FIND, only to find I do not have a sendmail.dll"PA Bear" wrote:

I hope this helps you understand my problem.

I would also like to say my display name indicates my age. Remedies that
are too technical will go over my head, I am afraid.

Let's back up even further: What problem are you having that you think
sendmail.dll would resolve?

Are you using Outlook Express to send the pictures? Assuming you are,
(Outlook Express ) Tools > Options > Send > Mail Sending Format > HTML >
Send pictures with messages (Is this checked?)

Are you attaching the pictures to an email or inserting (embedding) them
into a RichText (HTML) message?

If you send yourself a picture, can you see it in the email you receive?
