Missing Page Breaks

Greetings and thanks in advance.

I have a workbook with 110 worksheets or so and, mysteriously, some of the
pages will not accept page breaks. Even though the worksheet covers 150
lines and page setup is set to display on 1x2 pages, if I go into page break
view, it all shows as a single page. If I try to add a page break (Insert |
Page Break) nothing happens. If I view the page in page preview mode, it
spans over 2 pages but I don't have control over where the page breaks fall.

I'm assuming that this must be some kind of worksheet property but I am at a
loss to figure out what it is.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Richard.

In the absence of other responses is it possible that some of your sheets
have become corrupted? Try creating a new sheet and making sure that you
can insert your own page breaks then copy and past the data from a *corrupt*
sheet.

This doesn't fit all your symptoms, but enables adjusting the page break
lines by dragging:

<Tools> <Options> <Edit> tab,
And make sure that
"Allow Cell Drag and Drop"
*IS* checked,
And see if that helps.

That's my best guess as well. I've replaced the sheets for now and I'll see
how they hold up under the various VBA assaults that I routinely subject
them too.

Thanks,

Rihcard.

I don't think that this is the issue since within a given workbook most
sheets are fine and it's only some sheets that don't seem to accept hard
page breaks.

Richard.
