I would like to temporarily import all of my mail and settings from Outlook 2002 to another mail program, but noticed that th
Outlook.pst file is missing? Where can I get another Outlook PST file? Do I need to reinstall the program

I have been hacked for the past five months by employees of Level 3 Communications and believe that they probably removed the file. They have stolen my mail when the mail was downloaded through Outlook 2002. I am going to install a hardware firewall, but haven't had the time to do it

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me a response

Thanks

1. You do not have to re-install the program.
2. In most cases the *.pst is a hidden file.
3. Open explore and go to tools, folder options and then view, make that you
click on show hidden files and folders.
4. Now try and find your *.pst, also by default it could be named;
mailbox.pst or outlook.pst.
Give it a try and good luck.

You don't say what operating system you are using but I am guessing 2000 or
later. You need to turn on searching hidden and system files and then
search for your .pst file.

Also, make the time to install a firewall - it takes about 5 minutes to
download and configure Zone Alarm.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, ZCorker asked:

You keep saying this, but it's not true. You do not have to enable viewing
system files. Hidden files and folders suffices.

If this is true, you may have grounds for a lawsuit. Make sure you
documents the incursions.
