I have sent several Emails through Outlook Express, yet none are

Do you have the box checked in OE's options to save your e/m in the sent
items folder?

As Mike suggested check to see if the option Save copy of sent messages
in "Sent items" folder is checked -Tools, Options, Send.

Another cause of this problem can be a corrupted Outbox or Sent Items
folder. First remedy to try. In Outlook Express place the cursor on
Local Folders and select File, Work Offline followed by File, Folder,
Compact All. Do not attempt to interupt or stop the process until it has
completed. When it has completed close and reopen Outlook Express and
see if when you send a test email to yourself and see if a copy goes
into the Sent Items folder. If not move on to the next stage, which is
to replace the Outbox.

In Outlook Express create a a new folder by placing the cursor on Local
Folder and select File, Folder, New. Give the folder a name e.g. AASent.
Copy all messages (if any) from the Outbox to AASent. Next ascertain the
file path to the Store Folder -Tools, Options, Maintenance, Store
Folder. Close Outlook Express.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View, Advanced Settings and
verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked
and "Hide protected operating system files " is unchecked. You may need
to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that
the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.
Next in Windows Explorer make sure View, Details is selected and then
select View, Choose Details and check before Name, Type, Total Size, and
Free Space.

In Windows Explorer using the file path obtained earlier locate
Outbox.dbx and delete the file. Exit from Windows Explorer and reopen
Outlook Express. A new Outbox will have been automatically created by
the system. Send a test email to yourself and see if a copy goes into
the Sent Items folder. If not move on to the next stage, which is to
replace the Sent Items folder.

Copy all messages (if any) from the Sent Items folder to AASent and
close Outlook Express. Next in Windows Explorer using the file path
obtained earlier locate Sent Items.dbx and delete the file. Exit from
Windows Explorer and reopen Outlook Express. A new Sent Items folder
will have been automatically created by the system. Send a test email to
yourself and see if a copy goes into the Sent Items folder.

This involved procedure should resolve your problem but not necessarily
the cause. Commonly the cause is to interupt or stop automatic
compacting after closing Outlook Express 100 times. Your system is
especially vulnerable if you retain large numbers of messages in the
Inbox, Sent Items or Deleted Items folders. You should move messages to
be retained regularly to user created local folders which are not
sub-folders of the Inbox or Sent Items folders. You should also, before
Outlook Express has been closed 100 times. manually compact by placing
the cursor on Local Folders and select File, Work Offline followed by
File, Folder, Compact All. Do not try doing anything else on the
computer until the process has finished.

Placing the cursor on Local Folder, if Outlook Express has just been
opened avoids the problem that folders.dbx does not get compacted
because it is "in use". Folders.dbx needs to be compacted and can only
be done by using "Compact All". When compacted the counter is reset so
that you not get an "Automatic compact" reminder until you close Outlook
Express another 100 times.

When you compact Outlook Express now copies all dbx files to your
Recycle Bin. Given that dbx files can be fairly large it is a good idea
after compacting is done to run Disk CleanUp followed by Disk
Defragmenter. However before doing this it is wise to close and reopen
Outlook Express and check that all your folders are as they should be.
The folders in the Recycle Bin can be used to restore your Outlook
Express if compacting caused a problem.

Hope this helps.
