missing 'new mail' icon in taskbar

Hi, I somehow disabled the 'new mail' icon from showing in my taskbar. How
does one re-enable it?

Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options
 
If you figure out what you did to cause this, please let me know. I've been
trying to get rid of that icon for 6 years and 3 versions.
 
Hi, well as stated by Brian, you could

1) Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options

or

2) Right click the new mail icon and select 'disable' (which is what I did
to get rid of it in the first place)
