Missing Menus

I guess menus are what you call all the information located at the to
of the screen when you start Excel. Somehow those do not appea
anymore when I open the program. All I can see is the cell referenc
and then the fx field. I have no way to change font, bold, underline
save, print, anything. If anyone can tell me how to get those menus t
appear again I would greatly appreciate it

First When You Start Excel Right Click "Show" Button Then check "Standard,
Design, Function Box" Then everything should be back normal.

Thanks a lot man. Some how that Excel file had been changed t
Excel10. I believe it was from a business simulation I had to play fo
a marketing class. So I just renamed it Excelold.xlb and now it start
up fine. Thanks again man
 
10 is simple the version number but something had obviously corrupted it so
renaming it made Excel add a new one..all's well anyhow
