missing keystrokes whe typing on internet sites

Has anyone heard of having keystrokes just skip when filling in forms or
typing messages in windows such as this one? I have already retyped at least
10-12 keystrokes just asking this question. I don't have this problem when
using Word or Excel or any other pc based program. I realize it could be a
hardware issue but don't know where to start and I highly doubt it is a
hardware issue since it only occurs online. Please help!
 
If its happens only on the internet I would suggest sometimes we download and
install things that interfere with the internet.
