Setup:
Op Syst:Win XP Home SP1 v2002
PCU:Pentium 2.4GHz
RAM:504MB
ISP/Browser: AOL 8

Rrecently Installed Op Syst on clean partition,(drive C).
Should I have Internet Explorer? If so, I can't find it.
I also appear to have empty folders in win/pchealth, so I
have an inoperative help centre.

Is there a way to resolve this, short of a full
reinstall?

Hi Nick,

Start/run iexplore.exe - does this start Internet Explorer?

Try this: Start/run 'sfc /scannow' and have your WinXP CD handy......

Greetings:

Internet Explorer installs with Windows. The filename is
iexplore.exe. It should work WITHIN AOL when you try
accessing the internet. However, it is useless outside of
AOL unless you use another ISP.
