missing icons task bar

I have Vista home premium 32 bit.

I used to have an icon for my internet connection and for the volume...now
they're gone.

Any idea how to get them back?

Right click Start Orb>Click Properties>Click Notification Area tab>tick Clock, Volume and Network> click Apply>Click OK
