It's Christmas eve and I ought to have better things to do, but this
problem is very frustrating.

The preview and scan histogram tabs are missing from
the right-hand window on my version of Vuescan (8.3.17) and I can't find
any setting under prefs that might restore them.

I've downloaded and reinstalled the program several times on to two
different computers, both Win XP Pro, but the tabs don't reappear. I
must be missing something very obvious. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Further to my first post.

The histogram tabs are present when I reinstall two earlier versions of
Vuescan (8.1.29 and 8.2.36), but definitely are not present with the
latest version.

I'm using a Canoscan 8400f scanner.

For the time being I'll just carry on with the last working version.

They have been replaced by a single (selectable) histogram.
On the Prefs tab you can select what the histogram should
be showing.

Merry Christmas to all,
