I am a newbie to XP (Home)

I have installed a new operating system from CD.

All was going well until last night when I found I could
not access my help Files.

I tried re booting but still cannot access my help Files.

Any help or advise would be really appreciated.

Hi!
you haven't mentioned which OS you have installed.Assuming
it is XP as you have posted here, follow the followings to
restore Help and Support:-
Go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -regserver

To reinstall Help and Support: Go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose
install. Have your CD handy.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run and
type in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types.
