Missing hard drives

For a long time I have used the Ultra 133 TX2 card with 2 Maxtor hard drives
(6Y 120PO and 6Y 160PO), but after updating to Windows XP Version 5.1 Build
2600 XP Sp2 .030422-1633 Service pack 1, I cannot find the hard drives in
Explorer and My Computer.

The are in Computer Management and in Device Manager as
Maxtor 6Y120PO SCSI Disk device and
Maxtor 6Y160PO SCSI Disk device.

Can anybody tell me what to do?

Are they assigned drive letters in Disk Management? To get to that tool,
right click My Computer and select Management. If the drives are not
showing here, click on Action> Rescan Disks. To assign a letter, right
click the representation for the drive and select Change Drive Letter and
Path.
