Missing Files

I have Windows XP Home. I can not find any of the
administrative tools. No scandisk, defrag, restore,
anything. Where did they go, and how can I get them back.

have you checked start/programs/accessories/system tools
 
Try going to My computer, Right-Click, choose Manage. That should
bring up the services. Or go to C:, right-click, properties, and then
you can get to system restore and defrag.

My System Tools disappeared once, too, from the Start menu and from
the Control Panel. I never did find an answer. A reinstall of XP got
them back.
