missing file names in "my documents" file

My file's names disappeared in my documents folders... how do I get them back?

Hello,

You have to follow your thread here, no one is going to email you a reply.
That being said, is teh view in your My Documents folder set to Thumbnails ?
If yes, set it to some other view and then click on view and pressing down
the shift key on your keyboard, select thumbnail again. This will get your
file names back again.

I had the same problem, and this solution worked. What causes this to
happen?

Shift while changing the view to thumbnail is a toggle to remove or show the
file names in thumbnail view. Someone must have done it, either
intentionally or inadvertently.
