Missing data when printing

I'm not sure if this is an Excel or OS problem.

I'm using Excel 2000 on Windows 98. On the third page of a
four page sheet data is missing at the bottom of page 3 on
the print out and in print preview.

The same sheet previews and prints correctly using Excel
2000 on Windows XP.

Hi Walt.......

When you say the "same sheet" prints ok on XP.............it matters if the
two files came from the same source, as one could have been saved with a
different PrintArea set than the other..........I would suggest you go to
the XP computer and save the file to a floppy and then go open it on the 98
computer........chances are, it will print ok...........

Chuck,

Thanks for the response.

I'm new in this office and we just revised the file
yesterday (linked cells to other sheets) on an XP computer
then copied that file to the Win98 PC's over the network,
but that hasn't taken care of the problem. Print margins
and area are all set the same, but will triple check that
on Monday.

If it only occured on one machine I'd say it was a hardware
problem, but it occurs on all of our Win98 PC's.

We have problems at work where Win98 machines wont read directories set up
in Win2k or later unless they are "coaxed", but I never heard of one only
printing part of an Excel file............if/when you get the problem
solved, please post back with the solution so we all will
know...........thanks

Walt,
If using a header or footer, sometime the top and bottom
of page are a little off depending version used. Verify
the margins are correct.
