I have a user that is running Outlook 2003 on his machine and is missing
about half of his contacts. If he looks at Outlook web access all the
contacts are there. We had him sign in to a machine that is running Outlook
2002 (XP) and all the contacts are there as well. How can I get all the
contact to appear in Outlook 2003.

Please help!!!!!

Thanks in advance

does he have a filtered view configured? if using cache mode, did you
replace his ost so everything downloads again?

I have a similar issue. A user has approximately 140 items in his
contacts folder on the server (seen in OWA, or through Outlook 2003 on
the Contacts/Properties/Folder Size in KB not item count). If you
delete the offline contacts and send/receive the folder, you can see
all 140 contacts download then quickly disappear. I thought filtering
was the culprit but there is no filter defined. I have removed the OST
several times with no luck. Any ideas?

Same problem here as well. I have a user who, during switching Pc, went from
outlook97 to outlook 2003 (office standard 2k3). Using the cached mode of
exchange, the user's contacts have gone from 66 to 3. All of which are
viewable in webmail. I have tried the previous suggestions (removing the ost
and resyncing, as well as checking for any filtered views, of which their are
none) and nothing has worked.

HAS ANYONE FOUND A RESOLUTION? Suggestions?

did you make a new profile? using a profile created in an older version is
problematic.

The user was moved from a PC with office 97 and outlook 98, to a new pc with
office 2003 standard installed. The Outlook 2003 app was set up as if the
user had never been logged on to the machine. The user has a roaming profile
which we moved documents and so forth but the previous profile was created
on the old machine with a exchange 5.5 server (which was upgraded to 2003) Is
there a setting to change or a way to fix the issue with out destroying the
profile with all the mail on exchange for that user?
