I just installed XP SP2 and given that my computer has BT Widcomm
drivers, the update did not install the XP Bluetooth support. I
removed Widcomm and would like to turn the XP BT support on. How do I
do that?

This could be caused by outdated BT drivers. Ask the manufacturer of
the computer for newer drivers. Windows usually will detect BT
automatically and then make the new functions available.

it seemed to me that my logitech bluetooth hub that just arrived on the market
was working prettz good with sp1?No not microsoft
after trying to uninstall sp2 i was chained to mz toaster for 6 hrs!

if bluetooth icon is not in notification are:Click Start, click Run, type
bthprops.cpl, and then click OK.
if this does work, is there any other run command that can help?

I have a bluetooth adapter and can get to device properties but it doesn't
offer to add new device - when I type bthprops.cpl in "run" nothing comes up.
My drivers are updated and I can't find any similar articles.

You're using the web interface to Microsoft newsgroups.
How did you search to choose this newsgroup?

E.g. let's try backing up in the tree to the English newsgroups,
then searching for: bluetooth drivers
and filtering for answered questions:

Mark L. Ferguson has some instructions for your case I think
(in an XP newsgroup which also gets misused with off-topic
discussions <w>)

Thank you for redirecting me, it wasn't an intentional misuse of the
newsgroup, in fact I did a search for "bluetooth" and attempted to filter
through that, the entire thing has been frustrating.
