missing Address bar

Hi All,

Can you help. My address bar has gone missing leaving me
with the very inadequate MyWebsearch search tool.

I've tried all the usual things including re-installing
IE6 but no luck.

Has anyone else had this problem and a solution?

Assuming you have it checked....

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

and download HiJackThis. Unzip to a folder other than your Desktop or the
Temp folder, doubleclick HiJackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button. Press that, save the log some place you remember where it is.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so DO NOT fix
anything yet.

Open a the copy of your log in NotePad and made a copy. Then you can go here
to post you log:

Go to the HiJackThis section on the forum list and click to open. You can
post as a guest. It's also a good site to keep for reference. The experts
there will analyze the log and report back the results. Please allow at
least a few hours or a days time for a response.

notification by e-mail to let you know when a response has been posted.

Gerry......did you ever find an answer to the problem of
the missing address bar?........I have the same problem
for a couple of weeks now and have tried over and over to
get it back. I'd thought about re-installing but you just
mentioned it didn't work for you.
