Where on the microsoft web site will it tell me what
Office software packages are compatible with Windows XP,
(i.e., excel, word, powerpoint, Office 97? 98? 2000?)
 
Microsoft Office 97, 2000, Office XP, and Office 2003 are all
compatible with Windows XP. Be sure to visit the Office Update
website to download all the latest updates after installation.

Note: Office 98 is designed for MAC PCs only.

Thank you. How about Office 97 Professional edition? Is it
compatible with Windows XP Home edition? Thanks

when attempting to install Office 2000 Professional (SR-1)
